Wrong resolution or squished image on XR glasses
Squished (everything half-width)
The glasses are in 3D/SBS mode showing a 2D desktop. Switch back to 2D.
Stretched or letterboxed
In Duplicate mode Windows uses a shared resolution. Use Extend, or match a 16:9 laptop resolution. 16:10 glasses need 1920×1200.
Soft everywhere
Non-native resolution. Set native in Advanced display; make text bigger with scaling (125–150%), not resolution.
After a 3D app
Some apps leave the glasses in 3D; toggle 2D/3D.
Trial, price and how to get it
Complete VR Studio is a Windows 10 (version 19041 or newer) and Windows 11 x64 app, currently at version 1.0.0-preview.10. Premium features are included in a 7-day trial from install, and basic viewing keeps working until day 90.
