2D-to-3D effect too strong: how to tone it down

Applies to Complete VR Studio's 2D-to-depth effect.

The effect makes the eyes deliberately different: the lead eye is slightly enlarged/warped or tilted, and tilting the other eye the opposite way exaggerates it. More difference means more depth and more effort.

Turn it down

  1. Lower the eye scale.
  2. Lower the tilt.
  3. Remove the counter-tilt on the other eye.
  4. Recheck alignment with depth off.
  5. Try the other direction (pop vs deep).

Small values are usually best for long sessions. See 2D games in 3D.
